Lorene is the author of 3 books including Hortus Miscellaneous, A Gardener’s Hodgepodge of Information & Instruction (Sasquatch Books, 2007) a quirky little tome which celebrates the wide world and timeless nature of gardening through the compilation of folklore, trivia, superstition and practical fact. She is currently at work on her 4th book to be published by Timber Press in early 2011.
She is a contributing writer to Organic Gardening and Angie’s List Magazine and her work has appeared in Country Garden Gardener’s Almanac, MaryJanes’ Farm, Northwest Garden News, Pacific Horticulture, and Seattle Home & Lifestyles.
