I actually think growing in the ground is a lot easier than in containers so you're bound to be successful. As far as last frost...there's lots you can plant before then that will tolerate cold weather. Unless you're in the DC area - yikes. Thank you so much for the good will and book juju. I'm sooo excited and can't wait for first frost! Don't really know what I'm doing but hubby says he does :Op I'm a quick study though. We did container gardening last year to get a "taste" of it and planted strawberries, cherry tomatoes & herbs. From there we - and the kids - we hooked. I'm also shopping for a CSA in case we're.. ahem.. not sucessful.
