Falling into the garden headfirst

busy-week

A crazy busy week after our Montana roundup.  So much to tell… and show.  But life circumstances have a way of inserting themselves into the process.  In the midst of hectic catchup and mislaid plans the garden proved to be a wonderful retreat this past week.  Perfect for Garden Bloggers Bloom Day.

Relax and enjoy…I’m not even going to offer my usual running commentary.  Sometime we just need to be fed by the sheer abundance and beauty of it all without cluttering the matter with names, cultivation tips and who-ha.  Just let the garden support you…

Ah, this will be my last one for the evening. Great way to finish, with just the visuals. Poppies and salvias (?) together, what a genius combo. Your beautiful garden seemed to survive your absence and even thrive! All that deep watering served it well. Where did you find that arrowhead?

Ah Karen, it’s not an arrowhead…it’s a heart shaped rock! Watch for my post re: ROUNDUP! Finding that rock was a sweet gift on an amazing day!

That would be ‘Alchemyst’ – it’s lush, sexy, and so very abundant. She only blooms in one great go so I revel in cutting great bouquets and try to share as muc as I can. The blossoms are richer in color in warm weather – this year has been a stunner! If ‘Alchemyst’ is blooming is MUST be June!
Thanks for reading!
